Resources for Families

We'd love to hear from you

Students returning to the building

Good Day HSET Families,

Hoping you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. HSET is open to our high school for in-person learning. All students wishing to enter the building are required to submit a Covid Testing Consent form prior to or on first day of re-entry for weekly Covid testing. Additionally, students must complete mandatory DOE Health Screening each day to enter the building. Online access to complete these forms is accessible through your NYC Schools Account at mystudent.nyc.

Vaccination Information

Vaccination is the most important step you can take to protect you and your family from COVID-19, and all New Yorkers ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. If you have a child who is at least 12 years old and not yet fully vaccinated, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the DOE strongly encourage you to make a vaccination appointment for them as soon as possible by visiting vaccinefinder.nyc.gov(Open external link). For the latest DOE vaccination information, visit the COVID-19 on our website.

Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) sports vaccination requirement

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for all students and staff participating in high-risk Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) sports during the 2021–22 school year.
This vaccination requirement applies to all participants in high-risk. This information must be reported by impacted students or their parents/guardians, and staff, using the COVID-19 Vaccination Portal. As a reminder, students or their parents must use the student’s DOE credentials to upload their vaccination information to the portal.

For technical support using the Vaccination Portal, please contact the DOE Help Desk by opening a ticket online or calling 718-935-5100.
