Hoping you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. NYC will be reopening our high school for the return of our in-person learning on March 22. All students in Groups A, B, or C are required to submit the mandatory consent form for weekly Covid-19 testing through your NYC Schools Account at mystudent.nyc prior to the students first day of in-person learning.
The Fall 2020 school year will commence on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 for all NYC Students. As per NYC DOE, the first three student attendance days, September 16-18, will be fully remote partial instructional days for students. On Monday, September 21, 2020, is the first full day of learning. All students will attend remotely for the month of September or until otherwise specified by the NYC Department of Education. Check local news stations for updates. Information on schedules were sent via email to the students HSET Gmail account.

While it’s impossible to predict what September will look like, there is no question that next year will look different. Our families are our partners as we chart this new path forward, and we heard from 300,000 of them—in addition to 110,000 students—in a citywide survey on reopening our school buildings. Families must select 100% remote or blended in-school learning for the Fall by completing the survey no later than August 7, 2020.
