As a product of New York City public schools, I am living proof that New York City public school students can be successful. For the first 15 years of my 21 years of educational experience in New York City schools, I was a Day High School Math Teacher. As a math teacher, I taught all of the high school math courses including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II & Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus.While serving as a math teacher, I was also the Program Chairman for over 1500 students. My most recent position in the Department of Education was four successful years as an Assistant Principal of Supervision.
